Exciting News to start 2026

I’m thrilled to share a few recent highlights.

My play Front Row to Murder has been awarded the BroadwayWorld New Hampshire Award for BEST NEW PLAY, an honor I’m deeply grateful for. The play has also been named a 2026 Semi-Finalist for OUTSTANDING PLAY by the New Hampshire Theatre Alliance, which is incredibly encouraging as the piece continues its life beyond its world premiere.

Looking ahead, I’m also excited to be returning this March to Young Actors Theatre in Tallahassee to direct their production of Into the Woods. Getting back into the rehearsal room with young artists and tackling Sondheim’s endlessly rich fairytale world is something I’m very much looking forward to.

Grateful for the momentum, the collaborators, and what’s ahead.

2025 is a Big Year for Jordan: New Play, Debut Feature Film, and More on the Way

It’s been a busy (and wildly creative) season for multidisciplinary artist Jordan Reeves. His brand-new play, a cozy, murder mystery called Front Row to Murder, had its world premiere this summer at The Barnstormers Theatre in New Hampshire. The play is a warm hearted, comic mystery full of a colorful characters, captivating clues, and deadly drama. For more details about the world premiere production click on the button below.

And there’s more coming. As a novelist, Jordan is currently at work on three new books: Stray Trek (a middle-grade sci-fi adventure), The Molten Dragon (a gritty fantasy quest), and The Name Left Uncrossed (a cozy mystery with Cold War secrets). On the playwriting front, he’s also developing two new comic murder mystery plays: Death on the Chunnel and Fourth and Felony. For more info check out Jordan’s NOVELIST/PLAYWRIGHT pages.

Meanwhile, his debut feature film, Joni & the Whale — which he co-wrote and directed — is set to release later this year. A lyrical, coming-of-age drama with heart and visual punch, it marks Jordan’s first leap from stage to screen. Check out the film teaser below!
